The rules, in plain words.

Noqta is a marketplace for recorded video courses. Lecturers and teachers publish and sell courses; students get access and watch them in the app. Noqta provides the platform and its protection. Each course is made by its lecturer, who is responsible for what it teaches.

• Give accurate details, including your real name and phone number. Your name is used in the watermark on every lesson you watch.
• An account is for one person. Don't share it, sell it, or let anyone else watch with it.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• New accounts are reviewed before they get access, and we may decline an account.

• One phone per student account. The app works on the first phone that signs in. To move to a new phone, contact us and we will release the old one.
• Courses are unlocked with codes bought from Noqta or the lecturer outside the app. A code is for one account and can be used once. Ask us about refunds before you buy: they depend on where and how the code was sold.
• Some courses belong to an organization (a school, university or centre). They are visible only while you are a member. If you leave or are removed from the organization, you lose access to its courses, including ones you bought.
• Access is a personal licence to watch, not ownership of the content. It lasts as long as the course is offered and your account is in good standing.

Courses belong to their lecturers. You may not:

• record, screenshot, download, copy or re-upload lessons, their audio, or their files;
• share, sell or stream them to anyone, in any group or channel;
• hide or remove the watermark, or try to get around the app's protection (emulators, modified apps, screen-capture tools).

Every lesson carries a visible and a spoken watermark naming the account that watched it. If content leaks, we can identify that account, suspend or delete it without refund, and share the details with the lecturer, who may take legal action.

• You keep ownership of your courses. You give Noqta permission to host, protect, stream and show them to the students who have access, for as long as they are on the platform.
• You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, and that it is accurate and lawful.
• Terms of sale and pay are agreed between you and Noqta separately.
• We may refuse or remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

Don't misuse Noqta: no attacking or overloading the service, guessing codes, scraping, impersonating others, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account (how it works). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; where it is fair to, we will tell you why.

We work to keep Noqta running and your access safe, but the service is provided as it is, and it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or outside reasons. To the extent the law allows, Noqta is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for the access concerned.

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell you in the app when a change is significant; using Noqta after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
