What Noqta collects, why, who sees it, and how to delete it. Last updated: 9 October 2026.
Who we are.
Noqta (the Noqta Courses app, also called CourseHub) is a protected video-course marketplace run from Egypt. Lecturers and teachers sell recorded courses on it, and students buy and watch them in the app. This policy covers the app on iOS and Android, our website, and the services behind them. If you have a question about it, write to Code.Youssefaayoub@gmail.com or WhatsApp +20 100 453 2728.
What we collect.
Only what the app needs to run your account and protect the courses in it:
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and stored only in hashed form. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email Apple shares with us.
- Study details: your college or faculty, academic year, and the organizations (schools, universities, centres) you joined with a code.
- Course activity: the courses you are enrolled in, coupon codes you redeemed, and how far you have got in each lesson.
- Device details: a random ID the app creates when it is installed (not a hardware ID), your device's model name and operating system, and a push-notification token if you allow notifications.
- Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data (the error, the screen it happened on, app version, device and OS) so we can fix bugs.
- Lecturer content: if you teach on Noqta, the courses, videos, files and details you upload in Creator Studio.
- Support messages: what you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or microphone audio, and we do not take card or bank details in the app: courses are unlocked with codes.
How we use it.
- To create and run your account, and to show you the courses you have access to.
- To decide access on our servers: account approval, organization membership, and one active device per student account.
- To protect lecturers' work. While a lesson plays, the video shows a moving watermark with your name and account ID, and a short spoken tag names the account every few minutes. Screen recording and screenshots are blocked where the operating system allows it. If a lesson leaks, the watermark identifies the account it came from.
- To send notifications you agreed to, such as new lessons and announcements.
- To answer support requests, fix crashes, and keep the service secure against abuse.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
How long we keep it.
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, enrollments, progress, devices and notification tokens are deleted with it. Records of coupon codes you redeemed stay, but no longer point to you, so a used code cannot be used again. Crash reports are kept for a limited time by Sentry and then deleted.
Your choices.
- See and edit your details in the app under Profile.
- Notifications are optional. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.
- Delete your account from the app: Profile → Delete account. It takes effect immediately.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, at Code.Youssefaayoub@gmail.com.
Security.
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Every request is checked on our servers against what your account may access, videos and files are served through short-lived signed links, and the app keeps its device ID in the phone's secure storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we design every part of Noqta with protection first.
Students under 18.
Noqta is used by high-school students as well as university students. It is not meant for children under 13. If you are under the age at which you can agree to this policy where you live, use Noqta with your parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has given us data without that permission, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app when the change is significant.
